Sean Derry (Sr., 184 pounds, Omaha, Neb./ Omaha Northwest H.S.) improved to 16-5 on the season with a first-period pin against Minot State, helping the Vikings to a 36-6 win over the Beavers. Derry added three first-period takedowns, bringing his 2013-14 total to 67, before he eventually pinned his NSIC adversary. Derry now has four pins on the season and his 1:19 fall is the fastest of the season. Derry's 16 wins on the year is the most on the Vikings.
