Kayla Mescher (Sprints/Mid-Distance/Hurdles, Jr., Brighton, Colo./Brighton H.S.) completed the 600-meter sweep for the Vikings, winning her second 600-meter race in as many meets. The junior mid-distance runner won by over three seconds, clocking a 1:36.17 at the Dordt Open. Mescher also made her debut in 55-meter hurdles, taking third with a time of 8.78 seconds. Mescher's 600-meter time from the MSU Preseason Open is the second-fastest in the NSIC this season.
