CJ Ham (Throws, Jr., Duluth, Minn./Denfeld H.S.) broke the Augustana weight throw record while narrowly missing out on hitting a provisionally-qualifying mark. Ham's toss of 17.02 meters (55 feet, 11 inches) was just two centimeters shy of hitting the minimum NCAA-Championship qualifying mark. Ham finished as runner-up in the weight throw competition and equaled that finish in the shot put, concluding the competition with a best throw of 15.35 meters (50 feet, 4.5 inches).
