Daniel Jansen (F, 6-9, 230, So., Orange City, Iowa/MOC-Floyd Vallley HS) averaged 28 points and eight rebounds as Augustana split a pair of road games on the final weekend of regular season play. Jansen started off the weekend with his fifth double-double of the season scoring a career-high 37 points to go along with 11 rebounds. The sophomore had a big second half and overtime, scoring 27 of his 37 points in the second half and overtime. He finished the game 13 of 18 from the free throw line, setting a new career high in free throws made. Jansen has now scored 30-plus points in a game twice in his career, both coming this season. He continued his streak of steady play pitching in with 19 points and five rebounds going 6 of 14 from the field, including 2 of 3 from 3-point range in a win over Winona State on Friday night. Jansen is averaging 25 points and seven rebounds over the last five games for the Vikings.
