Banks helped the Vikings to a 3-1 start at the Oredigger Classic in Golden, Colo. this past weekend. Starting all 15 sets as a true freshman, Banks recorded a season-best 30 digs in a four-set win over Colorado Christian University. The former Gross Catholic High standout played a key role in a four-set victory over 14th-ranked Grand Valley State University picking up 27 digs, before recording 15 digs against 18th-ranked Colorado School of Mines. Banks compiled 93 digs (6.20 per set) in the Oredigger Classic to lead the NSIC in digs per set for the week.
