Daniel Jansen (F, 6-9, 240, Jr., Orange City, Iowa/MOC-Floyd Valley HS) averaged 20 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists helping the Vikings to a 2-0 record last weekend. Jansen opened the weekend scoring 20 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists at USF. Jansen matched his career-high with four 3-pointers against the Cougars on Friday night. He backed that up with his eighth 20-point performance of the season (20th career) scoring 20 points for the second straight night. Jansen finished with 20 points, three rebounds and three assists against SMSU on Saturday. He shot 61 percent (14 of 23) from the field and knocked down 6 of 11 (54 percent) from 3-point range.
