Irene Almarcha (So., Sevilla, Spain) took first place in the 60-meter hurdles provisionally qualifying with a time of 8.71. Almarcha’s top mark in the 60-meter hurdles set a new school record at Augustana, and also pushed her to sixth ranked in the nation this past Saturday at the MSU Multi and Open in Mankato, Minn.
