CJ Ham (Sr.,Throws, Duluth, Minn.) broke his own school record in the weight throw and provisionally qualified in two events this past Saturday at the 13th annual Wildcat Open. In his first attempt, CJ Ham broke his own school record taking the top mark in the weighted throw provisionally qualifying with a heave of 18.86 meters (61 feet, 10.50 inches) which is ranked 13th in the nation. Ham also took third in the shot put provisionally qualifying with a throw of 15.78 meters (51 feet, 9.25 inches) which currently ranks 30th in the nation. The Vikings are back in action this Saturday, Feb. 7 traveling to Mankato, Minn. for the Ted Nelson Classic.
