Daniel Jansen, a 6-foot-9 forward from Orange City, Iowa, led No. 4 Augustana to a 98-78 home win over Northern State Friday and a 97-80 win against No. 6 MSU Moorhead on Saturday. Jansen averaged 31.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 58 percent from the field. He also hit 62.5 percent from 3-point range, knocking down 10 of 16 from behind the arc. Jansen opened the weekend scoring 35 points and grabbing six rebounds while drilling a career-high six 3-pointers in the win over Northern State. He was 10-of-15 from the field, 6 of 8 from three-point range while hitting 9 of 10 free throws. Jansen followed up that performance with 28 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a victory over MSU Moorhead on Saturday. Jansen registered his fifth double-double of the season (13th career) in the victory.
