Casey Schilling helped the Augustana men's basketball team win its third game in as many days to capture the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament with a 98-82 victory over MSU Moorhead (32-3) on Tuesday, March 3 in front of 3,203 fans at the Sanford Pentagon. The victory secured the first ever NSIC Tournament Championship since joining the league in 2008-09 season. Schilling who scored 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for his 11th double-double of the season (20th career) earned NSIC Tournament Most Valuable Player. Schilling was the unanimous MVP selection after averaging 23 points and 11.5 rebounds while shooting 55 percent from the field, including 54 percent from 3-point range.
