Augustana's Jacob James really got himself in a groove at the plate this past week in helping lead the Vikings to a 7-1 record. The outfielder posted four games with at least three hits during the eight-game span over the week, highlighted by a career-high four hits in a game two win against Northern State on Saturday. The former Central High grad finished his week batting .607 at the plate. James also belted two doubles, recorded 11 RBI, scored 12 runs, and swiped three bases to go along with a .679 slugging percentage and a .656 on-base percentage.
