The junior was an absolute terror at the plate as the Vikings scored 70 runs in six wins this past weekend to wrap up the regular season on a 12-game winning streak. Fink went 1-for-3 at the plate in both Augustana wins against Sioux Falls on Wednesday. It was during the weekend that the Springfield High graduate really took his game to another level. He had at least two hits in every game during the four-game sweep at Upper Iowa, which included tying a career high with six RBI in the game-two win on Saturday – a game that he hit two home runs in for the Vikings. He also scored a career-best five runs in the contest. On Sunday, Fink notched a two-homer game in a game-two victory, giving the Vikings comeback win and sweep of the Peacocks. For the week, Fink was a monster at the plate: finishing with a .522 batting average (12 for 23), a 1.391 slugging percentage, belting two doubles, crushing six home runs, recording 16 RBI, and scoring 12 runs.
