Tahlyr Banks had a record breaking performance against the 14th ranked Ichabods of Washburn this past weekend in Topeka, Kan. as she set a school record for digs in a five-set match with 50 in a loss to Washburn. The school record for digs in a five-set match was previously 46, held by Shelly Knudson vs. North Dakota on Sept. 21, 1990. Along with breaking a school record, Banks also found a spot on the NCAA Division II all-time list for digs in a five set match. With her performance on Sept. 5, Banks now finds herself ranked 16th nationally. Over the weekend Banks totalled 100 digs while also posting an NSIC best 6.67 digs per-set average.
