Patrick O’Donnell is a junior outfielder from Andover, Minn. O’Donnell opened up the 2016 season down in St. Charles, Mo. With a .500 batting average as the Vikings took two of three games from Lindenwood. Over the course of the three day series O’Donnell was 8-for-16 with two double and a triple. He drove in nine RBI’s while scoring two runs. He earned a stolen base and only struck out once. It was game three of the series that saw O’Donnell provide his biggest contribution when he hit a bases clearing triple to give the Vikings the lead that they would hold onto for the remainder of the game.
