Sophie Kenney is a senior guard from Fargo, N.D. Kenney wrapped up her career at Augustana by being named to the NSIC All-Tournament team after one of the greatest three days in Viking basketball history. Kenney set a career-high for points scored and free throws made in a game in the NSIC Quarterfinals against MSU Moorhead with 31 points and 12 free throws made. Had a career-high nine assists against No. 8 Winona State in the NSIC semifinals. She also had a career-long streak of 26 straight free throws made during the NSIC Tournament. On the season Kenney averaged a career best 11.5 ppg, 4.6 assists per game, free throw percentage of 80.9 percent and minutes played at 30.8 minutes per night. She ranked 3rd in Division II in assist to turnover ratio with a ratio of 3.02, 18th in the nation with 148 assists and 46th in Division II with 4.6 assists per game.
