Cortney Dowling, a freshmen out of Pierre, S.D., was the highest placer for the Vikings at the Jim Emmerich Invite in Brookings, S.D. this past weekend. Dowling finished fourth in the 200-meters with a time of 25.41 which was good for a personal best. Dowling’s 200-meter time was the fifth best time in the NSIC this season. Dowling was also a part of the 4x400 relay team that took sixth with a time of 3:54.53, which is the second best time in the NSIC this season.
