Ben Goodwin played a crucial role in helping the Vikings comeback and upset No. 19 Upper Iowa in their NSIC home dual on Sunday. At 197 pounds, Goodwin took on Ryan Parmely with the Vikings down 16-13 in the dual. After exchanging escape points in regulation the match went to overtime. In overtime, Goodwin scored a takedown to secure the win and to tie the dual at 16-16. The Vikings would go on to win the dual 19-16.
