Derek Dahlke is a 6-2 sophomore from Belle Plaine, Minnesota. Dahlke had a great weekend for the Vikings, helping the team to a 3-1 series victory over Bemidji State to open NSIC play. Dahlke his his first career home run in game two on Saturday. He then hit his second career home run in game four on Sunday when the Vikings and Beavers were tied at 1. In three starts this weekend Dahlke hit .400 with four RBIs, four hits, two home runs and scored three runs.
