After connecting on nine hits, eight RBI’s and pitching nine shutout innings, freshman Ashley MickSchl is the Viking of the week. The Woodbury, Minn. native went 4-for-4, with 2 RBI and two innings pitched vs. Pittsburg State, went 3-for-4, 3 RBI vs. Emporia State, pitched a complete-game shutout vs. Missouri Southern and capped off the week going 2-for-3 with 3 RBI vs. Central Oklahoma. The Augustana softball team is 18-6 on the year and returns to action Friday, March, 23 at 3 p.m. vs. Sioux Falls.
