David Foster (6-5, Sr., Guard, Big Timber, Mont. / Sweet Grass County HS) had a memorable weekend as Augustana went 1-1 last week. Foster scored 12 points in a 70-67 loss at Upper Iowa, but he followed that up with a stellar performance in an 88-84 victory at Winona State. Foster scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half. He scored 5 points in an 8-0 run to start the game and then scored 8 points in an 11-4 run to close out the half to stake the Vikings to a 10-point lead at the break. In the process, Foster became the 26^th player in school history score 1,000 career points. He now stands at 1,005. He also grabbed a team-high 7 rebounds. For the week, Foster averaged 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He shot 50 percent from the field (12 of 24) and 45.5 percent from 3-point range (5 of 11).
