Augustana College men's basketball player
Nick Olson has been named to the 2005-06 All-North Central Conference Team, as selected by the league's head coaches. It is the second straight season Olson has been named to the team.
Olson, one of five players who is either a two or three-time selection, is a 6-6 junior forward from Eden Prairie, Minn. He averaged 11.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game during the season and 11.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest in NCC play. He scored in double figures 16 times, including 3 20-point outings.
In the NCC only statistics, Olson ranked 13th in the league in scoring and 12th in rebounding. In addition, he was third in steals (1.58 spg), eighth in free throw percentage (78.4 percent), 14th in 3-point percentage (38.5 percent) and 15th in 3-point field goals made (1.33 avg.).
