Katie Krauth were rewarded Thursday for their accomplishments in the classroom in addition to their performance on the diamond.
Loberg and Walz were named to the 2006 Academic All-North Central Conference Baseball Team. In addition, Loberg, Walz and Krauth were selected to the ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Baseball and Softball Teams. Loberg was named to the academic all-district first team, while Walz and Krauth were second team honorees.
Loberg, an outfielder and pitcher from Andover, Minn., has a 3.39 grade point average as a physical education major. Walz, a designated hitter from Rapid City, S.D., is an exercise science major with a 3.34. Krauth, a pitcher and first baseman from Hartford, S.D., is an elementary education with a 3.53 GPA.
As a first-team academic all-district selection, Loberg now moves on to the Academic All-America ballot.
