Augustana (2-5, 0-4 NCC) will go on the road this week as the Vikings travel to St. Cloud, Minn., to take on the St. Cloud State Huskies (3-3, 0-3 NCC). Both teams will be searching for their first conference win of the season. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Husky Stadium. The game will be SCSU’s Homecoming game as well.
Saturday’s game will be the 31st meeting between Augustana and St. Cloud State. The Huskies lead the all-time series 20-10, but Augustana captured a thrilling 27-23 victory last year in Sioux Falls. The Vikings led 13-0 in the second quarter only to see the Huskies take a 23-20 lead with 1:06 to play in the game. However,
Tommy Flyger found
Chris Pomerleau for a 51-yard touchdown pass with 3 seconds left on the clock to give the Vikings the win.
