Augustana Game NotesAugustana (3-5, 1-4 NCC) returns home this weekend to take on instate rival South Dakota (4-3, 3-1 NCC) in the Sanford Sports Football Classic. Kickoff is set for 1:08 p.m. at Howard Wood Field. The game is likely the final time the Vikings will face the Coyotes. Next year, Augustana will join the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, while South Dakota will move up to NCAA Division I FCS status.
South Dakota leads the series by a 42-20 count. The Coyotes have won five straight meetings, including a 38-14 win in Vermillion last year.

www.kxrb.com. Veteran broadcaster Jeff Fylling will call all of the action, while John Schultz, a former All-NCC quarterback with the Vikings, provides color commentary. The broadcast begins with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
Saturday’s game will be televised live by KELOLAND Television out of Sioux Falls. The game will be aired on KELO, cable channel 3 in Sioux Falls, as well as KCLO TV in Rapid City. KELO TV sports director Jay Elsen will call the action with former Augustana head coach Jim Heinitz providing color commentary and Tony Burns supplying sideline reports.
