Augustana head baseball coach
Dan Richards announced today that
Tim Duffy of Fridley, Minn. has signed a national letter of intent to attend Augustana and play baseball for the Vikings.
Duffy, a strong athlete who excelled in baseball, hockey, and football at St. Anthony Village High School, is currently a captain for the Huskies. He served as a starter for the 2006 State Championship team his junior year and received All-Conference Honorable Mention. He will contribute as a right handed pitcher and as a catcher for the Vikings.
"Tim brings versatility to our program on the mound and behind the plate, and comes from a very successful high school program," Richards said. "His abilities on the field and in the classroom make him an ideal fit for Augustana. We're extremely excited about Tim's future with the Vikings."
