The Augustana volleyball team moved up 4 spots to No. 13 in this week's CSTV/AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll.
The Vikings, who were ranked 17th in last week's poll, went 4-0 last week at the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Classic. The Vikings defeated Newman University (3-0), Southwest Baptist (3-1), Texas A&M International (3-1) and Northwest Missouri State (3-2).
As a result, Augustana extended its winning streak to 5 matches and improved to 10-2 on the season. The Vikings' only losses have come to No. 4 Minnesota Duluth and No. 8 Washburn.
Augustana has 3 home matches on the schedule this week. The Vikings take on No. 7 Southwest Minnesota State on Tuesday before opening North Central Conference play this weekend. Augie entertains South Dakota Friday at 7 p.m. and St. Cloud State Saturday at 5 p.m. All 3 matches will be played in the Elmen Center.
