Augustana fell to 5-4-1 (1-2 NCC) on the year, while MSU improved to 7-2 (2-0 NCC).
MSU scored two goals in the first 20 minutes to take a 2-0 lead. The Vikings held MSU scoreless for the next 60 minutes, but could only muster six shots against a stout MSU defense. Two late goals by MSU brought the final score to 4-0.
