Augustana Women Finish Seventh at Mustang Invitational

Final Results

The Augustana women's golf team finished in seventh place at the Mustang Invitational which concluded Sunday in Marshall, Minn.

The Vikings finished the two-day tournament with a team score of 673. Upper Iowa won the team title with a score of 612.

Individually, Kelly Lauer led Augustana by finishing in a tie for 22nd place with a 36-hole total of 164. Laura Strautz was 1 shot back in a tie for 25th place at 165, while Kate Tobin tied for 40th place at 172. Kaari Espeland carded a 173 to tie for 47th place and Molly Leland rounded out Augustana's scorers with a 175 to tie for 51st place.

The Vikings had 3 golfers compete as individuals. Megan Entwisle tied for 54th place at 176, while Kelli Lowry tied for 71st place at 186 and Emily Holck tied for 88th place at 199.

Augustana returns to action next weekend by competing at the Winona State Invitational next Saturday and Sunday.
