COMING UP: The Augustana women's basketball team (20-9) has been selected to play in the NCAA Divison II Women's Basketball Central Regional Tournament. The Vikings, who are the No. 8 seed in the region of eight teams, will now face the No. 1 seed Minnesota State University, Mankato on Friday, March 13 at 6 p.m. in Mankato, Minn. The No. 4 seed Nebraska-Kearney will then play No. 5 Minnesota State University Moorhead at 8 p.m. Earlier in the day, No. 2 seed Fort Lewis will take on No. 7 St. Cloud State at 1p.m., followed by No. 3 Winona State against No. 6 Colorado State-Pueblo at 3 p.m.
TICKETS: Tickets prices for this weekend's NCAA Women's Basketball Central Regional Tournament are: $8 for adults, $5 for youths (ages 5-17) and senior citizens, and $3 for college students with school identification. Fans can also purchase tickets 90 minutes before the first game of the game or go online to www.msumavericktickets.com. One ticket is good for the entire day's session.
