The Augustana women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Maverick Invitational which concluded Sunday at The Jewel Golf Course in Lake City, Minn.
Playing in cold, rainy conditions, Augustana shot a 347 on Sunday to finish with a 2-day total of 678. Concordia-St. Paul won the team title with a score of 620. Minnesota State University, Mankato, was second at 652 while Winona State was third at 666.
Laura Strautz was Augustana's top placer after shooting a 162 for the tournament. Meanwhile, Kate Tobin was 3 strokes back at 165, and Kelli Lowry, competing as an individual, shot a 168.
The Vikings' next action will be next weekend when they compete in the spring leg of the NSIC Championships Saturday and Sunday at the Brookings Golf Course in Brookings, S.D.
