The Augustana track and field teams completed its action at the Drake Relays with some strong times Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.
The women's sprint medley relay team of Meagan Grandgenett, Sarah Drew, Annaliese Pepin and LeAnn Severson finished fifth in a time of 4:10.85. Meanwhile, the 4X800 team of Kelly Kougl, Molly Clark, Megan Erspamer and Allison Henke turned in a time of 9:33.80 to finish 11th.
In men's action, Kaleb Boese finished 9th in the 8,000-meter road race, finishing in a time of 26:42. Finally, the distance medley relay team of Daniel Black, Paul Mallory, Brian Werner and Travis Beniak was clocked in 10:25.09 to finish in 14th place.
The Vikings return to the track next weekend when they remain in Sioux Falls for the Howard Wood Relays.
