Final Results
The Augustana women's golf team held its own to finish fourth at the Upper Iowa Spring Classic, which concluded Sunday at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa.
The Vikings, who shot a 345 in the first round, carded a 337 in the second round to finish with a 36-hole total of 682. Augustana was 10 shots behind third-place finisher Winona State, which had a team score of 672. Host Upper Iowa easily won the team title with a 646. Concordia-St. Paul was second at 669.
The Vikings placed two in the individual top 10.
Kate Tobin finished fifth with a 164, while
Kaari Espeland tied for sixth place at 167. Upper Iowa's Rachael Schmidt and Rochelle Schmidt tied for individual medalist honors at 151.
Augustana is scheduled to host the Augustana Spring Invitational on Thursday and Friday.
