The Vikings were able to load the bases in the eighth, but cam up empty-handed.

The Panthers scored one more run in the eighth as well, when Kendall Fridley was walked, stole second and third before scoring on an error by Dubanoski.

Derek Hansen singled in the ninth and Brian Knight was sent in to pinch run. A double by Nate Hewes advanced Knight to third, but Zach Cimburek lined out to end the game.
