The Augustana men's tennis team had its three-dual winning streak snapped with a 9-0 setback at the hands of No. 1 Rollins College Tuesday in Orlando, Fla.
Rollins jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles matches, dropping just one game in the process.
Augustana fared better in singles play where the matches were closer. The No. 4 and No. 5 singles matches were the most competitive. At No. 4 singles, Rollins' Andrew Johnson downed
Neal Gregerson 6-0, 6-4, while Graham Ely avoided a super tiebreaker with the Vikings'
Dane Rasmussen before claiming a 6-2, 7-5 win.
Augustana is back in action Wednesday when the Vikings take on St. Ambrose in a 12:30 p.m. EDT dual.
