Augustana's women's tennis team capped a perfect spring trip by easily beating St. Ambrose 9-0 Wednesday night and Springfield College 8-1 Thursday in Orlando, Fla.
The Vikings, who went 5-0 on their spring trip, remain undefeated on the season with an 11-0 record.
Against St. Ambrose, the Vikings weren't threatened in all but one match. At No. 3 doubles, Augie's tandem of
Alison Broadwell and
Kilee Kading edged St. Ambrose's Emily Turner and Melanie Blazevic 8-6. The Vikings dropped only 1 game in the other doubles matches.
In singles play, none of the Vikings lost more than 3 games in their matches.
The Vikings controlled Springfield as well. Starting with the doubles matches, Augustana dropped a total of 5 games in the three matches.
Augustana also won all six singles matches in straight sets.
The Vikings are now off until March 27 when they return to NSIC action with two duals against MSU Moorhead and Upper Iowa in Minneapolis, Minn.
