After losing to Wayne State 75-52 in the first round of the NSIC / Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament, the Augustana men's basketball team dropped 10 spots to No. 25 in this week's NABC Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, which was released today.
Augustana, which has won 9 of its last 12 games, received 23 points this week.
The Vikings are still 1 of 3 NSIC teams in the top 25. Minnesota State University, Mankato remains at No. 8, while St. Cloud State jumped eight spots to No. 16.
This Saturday, March 13, Augustana will open play in the NCAA Division II Central Regional Men's Basketball Tournament in Mankato, Minn. The Vikings, seeded third, will play No. 6 New Mexico Highlands at noon at the Taylor Center.
