The Augie men's tennis team lost its second straight match this weekend as they lost 7-2 to the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday at Huether Tennis Centre.
The loss moves the Vikings to 5-6 overall on the season while the Cougars improve to 2-5 on the season.
Augie's only wins of the day came at No. 1 singles and No. 6 singles.
Jared Drenkow beat Michel Marcoux in a close battle, winning the first 6-2 before falling 3-6 in the second and coming out on top of the tie-breaker, 10-8.
Also winning his match was
JD Carrels, who beat Austin DeLange 6-2, 6-1.
Augie will take the court again on Thursday as they play Minnesota State at 4 p.m. at the Huether Tennis Centre.
