In its first ever match at the Huether Tennis Centre, the Augustana women's tennis team remained a perfect 16-0 on the season with an 8-1 win over the University of Sioux Falls.
The highlight of the match was a hard-fought competition between Augie's
Amber Baustian and MeMolly Seigenthaler at No. 6 doubles. Baustian came out on top in two marathon sets of 7-5, 7-5.
Augie won in straight sets at No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
Brittany Gaster suffered the only loss of the day for the Vikings, losing 6-1, 6-4 to Jenny Lewellen.
The Vikings also dominated on the doubles side, winning all three matches.
Augie will be back on the road on Monday, travelling to Marshall, Minn. for a 4 p.m. matchup with Southwest Minnesota State.
