Mike Aldrich held their first practice of the 2010 season Saturday afternoon at Kirkeby-Over Stadium. The Vikings had 97 student-athletes report to fall camp.
The weather cooperated for Day 1; the temperature was around 75 degrees and a light breeze kept the playing surface relatively comfortable.
The Vikings, who were picked third in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conferences Preseason Coaches' Poll, opens the 2010 season on Sept. 4 when they host St. Cloud State in a non-conference contest.
