WACO, Texas - Augustana climbed four spots and is ranked No. 20 in the American Football Coaches Association poll released Monday. The Vikings received 134 points to move up from their No. 24 spot last week.
Grand Valley State received 21 first-place votes and 644 points to again take the No. 1 position.
Three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams are in this week's top 25. Minnesota Duluth is No. 2, while Minnesota State is No. 25. Four more conference teams received votes.
Augustana (4-0, 3-0 NSIC) topped Southwest Minnesota State 53-21 last Saturday at home. The Vikings travel to Concordia University, St. Paul (3-1, 2-1 NSIC) on Saturday for a noon contest.
