KINGSVILLE, Texas
- Augustana defensive lineman Brady MacIver will play in Friday's Cactus Bowl, and Vikings fans can follow the senior live online.  Kickoff is 7 p.m.at Javelina Stadium in Kingsville, Texas.  The game features the top 88 NCAA Division II seniors in the nation.

The game will be broadcast on SportsRadio 1230 AM in Corpus Christi with live streaming at www.sportsradiocc.com. The webcast will be produced by the Texas A&M-Kingsville communications department at www.tamuk.edu/southtexan.

The format of the bowl game changed this year from the previous East versus West format to two teams (Red Storm and Blue Devils) divided evenly with the best players in the nation.

A native of Anoka, Minn., MacIver was a 2010 All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division first team pick.  He was instrumental in helping the Vikings log the most successful season in school history.  In 2010, Augustana recorded a school-record 11 wins (three more than the previous record) and made their first playoff appearance since 1989. The Vikings also hosted and won its first playoff game by defeating No. 6 Grand Valley State on Nov. 27 at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.

MacIver recorded 48 tackles, including six for loss.  He also blocked one kick and broke up two passes.  The senior anchored a defensive unit that was the NSIC's best--allowing just 229.6 yards per game.

MacIver is the first Augustana player to be selected for the Cactus Bowl since 2003 when Jash Kayser and Matt Kender accepted invitations.

An Offensive Player of the Game, Defensive Player of the Game and Jim Langer Offensive Lineman of the Game will be awarded following the game.
