SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana Athletic Club has launched its new online auction site at
auction.goaugie.com. The site, which will run year round, allows interested buyers an opportunity to bid on various items and trips. All proceeds help provide scholarship assistance for more than 350 student-athletes at Augustana.
Items currently up for bid are several hunting and leisure trips as well as Augustana-themed experiences, apparel and memorabilia.
"This is going to be a great opportunity for people--regardless of location--to show their support for Augustana student-athletes," said
Jon Eng, director of athletic development. "It will allow us to expand the Athletic Club's foot print and opens up opportunities for giving year round."
The focus of the Athletic Club is to help student-athletes achieve success in competition and in the classroom. Through memberships, special events and gate receipts, the Augustana Athletic Club provides more than $1.5 million in support each year.
