SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - From March 22-25 Augustana will be in Orlando, Fla., to play a series of five matches for its spring trip. The Vikings will kick off the trip playing Otterbein (Ohio) on Tuesday at 1 p .m. and will then play two matches on Wednesday against Hamline (12:30 p.m.) and Wisconsin-Oshkosh (6:30 p.m.). Up for the Vikings on Thursday is Colby (Maine) at 9 a.m. and Hastings concludes the action for Augustana on Friday at 10 a.m.
The Vikings are 3-4, having defeated Morningside 6-3 last Friday.
Neal Gregerson (No. 3) and
John Doron (No. 6) each cruised to 6-2, 6-3 victories over their opponent.
JD Carrels also won comfortably at the No. 4 spot with a 6-1, 6-2 win.
The Vikings' final singles win was at No. 2 with
Evan Gardner defeating Reid Rosen 6-4, 6-3.
Augustana also had wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
