FARGO, N.D. – Henrik Hansson won the one mile with a time of 4:14.32 to highlight Augustana's performance at North Dakota State's Bison Open on Saturday.
Katie Guse took third in the high jump with her mark of 5 feet, 4.25 inches.
Phil Rien was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 4 inches.
In the shot put, CJ Hamm placed fourth (50 feet, 4.00 inches) and Aaron Jung finished fifth (49 feet, 8.50 inches).
Paul Mallory and Gathin Veldhuizen were the top finishers for Augustana in the 60-meter hurdles. Mallory was sixth (8.54) and Veldhuizen was seventh (8.55).
800-meter runner Justin Cook earned a seventh-place finish with a time of 1:57.86.
Khor Kong and Skyler Kuil finished the 400-meter dash in 51.21 and 51.67 to place fifth and eighth, respectively.
Laura Popanz and Malik Glass both came in eighth in the women's and men's 60-meter dash. Popanz ran 8.24 and Glass turned in a time of 7.13.
Anne Parsley finished seventh in the 400-meter dash (59.58).
Augustana begins the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Multi-Event Championships tomorrow in Bemidji, Minn.
