INDIVIDUAL TOP 10
NEW ORLEANS – The Augustana men made no movement from last week in the national poll and checked in at No. 23 in the fifth rankings of the season released Tuesday by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Association. The men also remained ranked eighth in the Central Region, while the women kept their No. 9 spot.
Three Vikings hold top-10 positions in the nation in four events. Tom Karbo's time in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase is second (8:44.37) and he is 10th in the 10,000 meters (14:08.27). Kyle Blakeslee holds the fourth best time in the nation in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:18.71). Aduo Omot is eighth in the 800 meters (1:51.41).
Augustana competes at the Minnesota State Twilight tomorrow in Mankato, Minn.
