FINAL RESULTS
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana men's golf won the Luxury Auto Mall Classic with a final score of 594 after carding a 291 on Monday afternoon at Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls. Minot State's Kowan O'Keefe, who carded a 70 on Sunday, finished with a 75 today earning medalist honors.
Augustana finished eight strokes better than second—place finisher Bemidji State who carded a final score of 602 (34-over par). Bemidji State was in fifth-place heading into today's final round of play.
Clay Kopplin and
Kyle Kopplin were Augustana's highest finishers tying for second place with a two-round score of 146 (6-over-par). Clay shot a 73 today, after carding a 75 on Sunday. Kyle shot a tournament-low 69 (2-under-par) today.
Augustana's
CJ Haukom and
Luke Robison tied for fifth place with a two-round score of 149 (7-over-par). Haukom was one shot better than yesterday with 3-over-par 74 this afternoon.
Tyler Jensvold had a solid weekend on the course shooting a 75 on both days and finishing in a five-way tie for eighth-place.
The Vikings return to action on Sept. 17-18 at the Concordia University Invitational at Tartan Park Golf Course in Lake Elmo, Minn.
