FINAL RESULTS
VERMILLION, S.D. - Five Vikings earned second-place finishes and three more Vikings placed top-three at the University of South Dakota Alumni Open on Saturday.
The Greenway brothers showed well again, this time in the 200-meter dash. Jason Greenway took second in 22.3 seconds and Justin finished one spot behind him, third, at 22.64 seconds. Jason also managed a second-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 6.72 meters.
Karmen Nyberg also finished third in the women's 200-meter dash with time of 26.36.
Khor Kong joined as a runner-up in the 400-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 51.48 seconds. Zach Feil followed suit with a high jump mark of 1.90 meters, also a second place finish.
Also on the field side, Aaron Jung registered a 16.79-meter toss in the shot put to finish second. CJ Ham placed third in the weight toss at 16.14 meters to close out the top-three finishes for the Vikings on Saturday.
Augustana now heads to Mankato, Minn. for the Ted Nelson Classic on Feb. 2.
