- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced on Monday afternoon that five Vikings were named All-Americans for their performance at the NCAA Indoor Championships.  Runa Falch, Kristin Brondbo, Kayla Mescher, Emma Anderson, and Henrik Holmberg each took home the honors.

Falch headlines the group with All-America accolades in two events.  The senior distance specialist finished third in the women's 3,000-meter run and anchored the distance medley relay squad who placed eighth.

Brondbo, Mescher, and Anderson were the other three members of the DMR squad who has now earned All-American status for three consecutive years.  Brondbo and Mescher each finished 12th in their individual events, narrowly missing a second All-American nod.

Henrik Holmberg was the only male participant for the Vikings and he was named an All-American with his eight-place showing in the heptathlon.  Holmberg tallied 5,176 points, just nine shy of seventh place.
