RESULTS
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Augustana shot a 325 in the final round of the NCAA Championships to finish 11th, with a four-round score of 1,302 (328-321-328-325), at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla. on Saturday.
Lynn University won the team national championship, finishing at 1,187 and beating runner-up and four-time defending national champion Nova Southeastern. Nancy Vergara, of Barry University, won the individual crown at three-over-par 291.
Emily Kvidera and
Marisa Toivonen were Augustana's highest finishers as the two tied for 23rd overall at 18-over-par 306. Kvidera shot a nine-over-par 81 this afternoon while Toivonen fired a one-over-par 73.
Allie Ostrander jumped up five spots with her lowest round of the NCAA Championships, shooting a five-over-par 77 to finish tied for 61st at 45-over-par 333 (89-84-83-77).
Jennifer Pederson finished 70th overall with a 74-over-par 362 (85-89-92-96) while
Maggie Leland finished 71st at 89-over-par 377 (95-99-89-94).
Augustana made its sixth straight appearance at the NCAA Championships this season.
