SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana College football will play its final home game of the 2014 this Saturday, Nov. 1 at Kirkeby-Over Stadium. The Vikings (4-4, 1-3 NSIC) welcome Winona State University (4-4, 1-3 NSIC) for a 1 p.m. kickoff on senior day.
Augustana will honor 18 seniors who will be playing their final game at Kirkeby-Over Stadium prior to Saturday's game. The Vikings are coming off a 34-28 loss to top-ranked Minnesota State last weekend where the Vikings rallied to get within six late in the game. Augustana enters Saturday's game averaging 36.6 points per game while ranking fifth in the NSIC averaging 464.1 yards of total offense.
Augustana has the third-ranked passing offense in the NSIC, averaging 296.8 yards through the air per game while
Trey Heid ranks second in the league with 20 touchdown passes on the season.
The Warriors are coming off a 41-28 home loss to No. 14 Sioux Falls at home last week. Winona State enters Saturday's contest having lost four of its last five games after opening the season with three straight wins.
